WQED producer David Solomon returns for the second part of his documentary. This follow-up to “Portraits for the Home Front: The Story of Elizabeth Black” takes the saga of Pittsburgh artist Elizabeth Black to a compelling new level. The 30-minute Emmy® Award-winning documentary focuses on producer David Solomon’s efforts to find homes for dozens of soldier portraits sketched on World War II battlefields.

With the help of volunteer researchers and amateur genealogists, WQED is able to reunite the beautiful portraits with amazed and appreciative families in Pittsburgh and across the U.S.

All are welcome to attend this screening along with a talk and Q&A!

Registration required.
