In this hands-on workshop, Shelley Nilson, SGC member and Master Gardener, will help us get a head start on summer by demonstrating how to sow seeds outdoors in winter using milk jugs and other everyday household items. Participants will prepare and plant perennial seeds in milk jugs to take home and let germinate naturally on Mother Nature's schedule.
Please bring a clean gallon milk jug, scissors, duct tape, and a black permanent marker.
Seeds, soil mix, and step-by-step instructions will be provided.
