Join us for an artist talk with Pittsburgh-born ceramic sculptor Sharif Bey, reflecting on his exhibition Sharif Bey: Homecoming. After more than 25 years, Bey returns to the city that shaped him. He’ll discuss what it means to come full circle as an artist, the inspiration behind his work, and community as a throughline in his practice — including the dialogue between ceramics and fine art, adornment and identity, and Pittsburgh’s creative ecosystem for the next generation.
