The Perfect American Man by Benjamin Kramer is a sung-through staged reading that steps across time to explore the intergenerational pulse of gay America. Spanning decades from 1969 to today, the piece follows five men—all twenty-two years old in their respective eras—whose lives converge and diverge through intertwined musical monologues.
