10 Wednesdays, September 9 – November 11
Age Level: 16 and up
Experience Level: All Levels
Whether you already have a little experience in clay or are just starting out – this class will give you an introduction to the fundamentals of wheel-throwing and hand-building. If you’ve already learned the basics and want to improve your proficiency, this class will challenge you and help you expand your knowledge or refresh your skills. Your instructor will focus on teaching centering, maximizing volume, trimming, glazing, and studio safety.
Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Each registration includes clay, tools, glaze, and firing costs for one participant. No outside clay or glazes permitted.
Please read our Studio Policies. If a class or workshop is sold out, you may request to be added to the waitlist.
Union Project is committed to being accessible to all. The building is wheelchair accessible via the side door on Stanton Avenue, and an accessible parking spot is located just outside that door. Service animals are always welcome, and ASL interpretation can be provided on request. Please let us know what accommodations we can make to ensure your experience is positive. Contact Alex Woodring at 412-363-4550×214 or alex@unionproject.org if you have specific accommodations or needs.
