Pittsburgh has always been a great music town. Alas, so many of the venues where local and touring musicians played are gone. Also gone, the place where so many of us bought our LPs, tapes, CDs, & concert tickets - National Record Mart. But, for one night anyway, let’s bring it all back! The history of NRM through the decades. The Shapiro family. The stores they opened. The shows they promoted. From a modest startup to being a dominant force both locally and nationally, up until the swan song. Featuring all Pittsburgh acts, including Billy Eckstine, George Benson, Donnie Iris, and The Clarks.
