The title of this book club comes from Gerda Saunders, who wrote in her memoir, "...the more you know, the better you're able to love." If you think this might be true, please give the book group a try!
September's title is Shamism: The Timeless Religion by Manvir Singh.
Seven Storey Mountain by Thomas Merton will be discussed in October.
November's read is Phil Christman's How to be Normal.
We try to pick titles that will make us learn, understand, and love better and more. When that fails, we just pick something that is weird.
Previous titles include Poet Warrior, Tattoos on the Heart, andRebecca Sue. Email kalchthaleri@shalerlibrary.org for more information. The only requirements are an open heart and an open mind!
