Join us for a cyanotype printing workshop at the library! Cyanotype is a photographic process that has been around since 1842. The process involves mixing chemistry, coating paper or fabric and exposing to UV light, which is why they are often referred to as sun-prints. Workshop participants will learn the process of cyanotype in a group setting. Join us to make your own cyanotype bookmark and print using a collection of botanicals + some additional materials. Feel free to bring your own materials (negatives, trinkets, plants, whatever you want!)
Each participant will go home with their own custom made, unique, botanical 8 x 10 cyanotype print + a cyanotype bookmark!
