Privacy Policy

Yinzider does not have accounts, and we collect as little as we can. This page explains what we do collect on yinzider.com, why, and who else may collect data when you use the site.

What we collect

• Email address, only if you sign up for the weekly brief, along with where you signed up and your consent choice. We use it to send the brief, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Dibs and crews. When you share saved events or join a crew, we store the events you picked and any name you type, so the people you share the link with can see them.
• Usage data. Pages viewed, links clicked (including which event and ticket seller a ticket link went to), and the campaign or post that brought you here. We use it to see what is useful and to count referrals.
• Technical data. Our servers briefly process your IP address and browser details to deliver pages, limit abuse and keep the service secure.

Cookies and browser storage

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure visits. We send it only page views and a short list of named actions, never your email or other details you type. The site also stores small preferences, such as light or dark theme and your dibs, in your browser's local storage; they stay on your device.

Third parties that may collect data

• Google (Analytics, Fonts and YouTube). Pages load fonts from Google, and artist videos play through YouTube, which may set its own cookies. See the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
• Ticket sellers and affiliate networks. When you follow a ticket link, the seller (for example a venue, Ticketmaster or SeatGeek) and affiliate networks such as Impact may place or read cookies on your browser to credit the referral and run their sites. Their privacy policies apply once you leave Yinzider, including SeatGeek's Privacy Notice and Ticketmaster's Privacy Policy.
• Service providers that host and run the site for us (Google Cloud and Firebase) and send our emails. They process data only to provide those services.

Ticket prices shown on Yinzider come from seller APIs. We do not send them your personal information to look up a price.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

Email addresses stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Shared dibs and crew links are kept while they are in use. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the brief with the link in any email.
• Block or clear cookies in your browser, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Ask us to access or delete data we hold about you by contacting us below.

Children

Yinzider is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We will update the effective date above when this policy changes.
