Meditate & MoveSet the tone for your week by joining this Sunday morning yoga flow. Class begins in a short seated meditation, with clear instruction of mindful breathing techniques and integration of a yoga intention. Students will then ease into movement with waves of grounded postures that prepare for standing shapes and creative vinyasa-style sequencing. Expect movement to be linked with an impactful playlist and reminders of the yoga intention to be sprinkled throughout. We will then cool back down with hip opening/twisting shapes before sweet sweet savasana. All levels are welcome and variations for all bodies will be provided. About KaylaKayla (she/her) is a Pittsburgh-based yoga teacher and student. Teaching yoga has been the greatest joy of her life and she feels grateful for the opportunity to spread this practice to others. She hopes students leave her classes feeling strong, safe, supported, and self-aware.Kayla is mindful that physical asana is just the tip of the iceberg as she integrates the wisdom of yoga into daily life with breath work, meditation, and spiritual considerations. Kayla is passionate about equality, veganism, and the environment. She is a resident of the Northside, a marketer during the daytime, and a dog mom to the sweetest girl, Cici pup. In Kayla’s class, expect creative sequencing inspired by water and music, always linked with an intention and supported by the breath. Her classes are challenging and fun, providing a safe space for students to try new things and explore the boundaries of their practice.
